Wear Problems in Table Liners
DISADVANTAGES OF PRESENT SOLUTION:
- Not possible to give very high thickness of hard layer
- Weld deposit gets diluted leading to reduction in volume fraction of carbide, reducing wear resistance of the plate.
- Has numerous stress relief cracks
- Deposited material has a tendency to chip off accelerating wear
